Playland and Playdates

About three weeks ago (I'm a bit behind on posting), Pam, Evalena and Ethan came to visit from Chicago. The first night they were in town we all went to Playland, and it was Peter's first time. Peter refused to go on the boats, but after that he was excited for the rides. The only other ride that he refused to go on in Kiddieland was the Ferris Wheel, but that might also have had to do with the late hour.

The next morning Peter and I headed up to Aunt Joanne's and Uncle Jay's so that Peter could play with Ethan and Evalena. Despite the heat, they all wanted to play outside. Ethan had the right idea of going in the pool, but Peter still refused. We didn't stay too long since everyone needed naps after the late night at Playland, but it was great getting to see them while they were here. Hopefully we'll get out to Chicago to visit them soon.
