Earlier this week, Peter, Charles and I met Connor, Alexander and Rebecca for our first zoo trip of the year. It was also Charles's (and Alexander's) first trip. Of course it never occurred to me to get a picture of Peter and Charles together, or all four children for that matter. The weather was great, if not a little too hot. There was lots of sun, but not a lot of shade since the leaves hadn't grown back yet from the winter. Peter and Charles seemed to have a blast in the children's zoo and ran around like crazy. We kept the trip short and headed home after the petting zoo since we were all so exhausted. We had a great time, but it really showed me that I can't bring both boys to the zoo without an extra set of hands, Peter likes to take advantage of his independence and run off.
