Anniversary Celebration at The Sleeping Beauty

This past Saturday night, Geoff took me to see New York City Ballet's production of The Sleeping Beauty. I was beyond excited, as I have been wanting to see that for years. In fact, a few years ago, there was a performance right around my birthday that I hinted to Geoff would be a great gift. We ended up going to see Beauty and the Beast on Broadway instead that year.

Before the show, we had a wonderful dinner at Josephina's. It was amazing, and very different than the meals that we have been having recently. When we arrived at the theatre, Geoff saw someone he used to work with at New York Sports Club. He never got a chance to say hello, since he got lost in the crowd, but it was quite the flashback. The performance itself was spectacular, especially the Princess and the Lilac Fairy. Geoff was impressed with how perfect their lines were, and said that he was getting calf cramps just watching the Princess balance in arabesque for so long.
